About the role

  • You take product ownership for our wall assembly — from the load-bearing concrete core to the finished exterior façade
  • You develop economical, standards-compliant and scalable wall constructions (insulation, layer composition, system integration)
  • You optimize wall geometries with regard to material usage, building physics, cost, reduction of GWP and construction workflow
  • You evaluate new insulation systems, materials and hybrid construction methods
  • You work closely with project execution and support project acquisition and implementation
  • You act as the sparring partner for our 3D printing teams and ensure that all wall system developments are implemented pragmatically and become visible immediately on our construction sites
  • You manage multiple parallel projects with external clients and development partners
  • You independently lead these projects at a senior level to completion — technically, on schedule and economically
  • You systematically transfer practical experience into the continuous development of our construction system
  • You don’t see the wall as a mere detail, but as a scalable product

Requirements

  • Degree in building physics, civil engineering, architecture or a comparable qualification
  • At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally in residential construction
  • Hands-on mentality: take responsibility, make decisions and deliver results
  • Excellent understanding of thermal protection, wall and insulation systems and site logistics
  • Strong technical ability to assess complex construction engineering topics
  • Ability to consider wall solutions not only technically but as economically viable and scalable products
  • Solid understanding of ecological assessment criteria in construction (e.g., GWP, CO2 footprint, life-cycle assessment)
  • Strategic and commercial thinking with a clear focus on cost, efficiency and feasibility
  • Interest in innovative construction methods and automation
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
