About the role

  • You take product responsibility for our wall construction — from the load-bearing concrete core to the finished exterior facade
  • You develop economical, standards-compliant and scalable wall constructions (insulation, layer composition, system integration)
  • You optimize wall geometries with respect to material use, building physics, cost, reduction of GWP and construction sequencing
  • You evaluate new insulation systems, materials and hybrid construction methods
  • You work closely with project execution teams and support project acquisition and implementation
  • You act as the sparring partner for our printing teams and ensure that all further developments of the wall system are implemented pragmatically and become visible directly on our construction sites
  • You manage multiple parallel projects with external clients and development partners
  • You drive these projects independently at a senior level to completion — technically, schedule-wise and economically
  • You systematically transfer practical experience into the ongoing development of our building system
  • You don’t think of the wall as a detail, but as a scalable product

Requirements

  • Degree in building physics, civil engineering, architecture or a comparable qualification
  • At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally in residential construction
  • Hands-on, can-do mentality: take responsibility, make decisions and deliver results
  • Very good understanding of thermal protection, wall and insulation systems and site workflows
  • Strong technical understanding for evaluating complex construction-related issues
  • Ability to conceive wall solutions not only technically but as economically viable and scalable products
  • Solid understanding of ecological assessment metrics in construction (e.g., GWP, CO2 balance, life-cycle assessment)
  • Strategic and commercial thinking with a clear focus on costs, efficiency and feasibility
  • Interest in innovative construction methods and automation
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
