About the role

  • Support achievement of annual sales goals through product demonstrations, trials, and evaluations of capital equipment
  • Provide operating room case coverage in support of new and existing business
  • Participate in or lead product installations and in-servicing activities
  • Support single-use and capital sales initiatives through trial execution and case support
  • Effectively present and differentiate KARL STORZ products in compliance with product labeling
  • Establish and maintain strong, compliant relationships with physicians, nurses, sterile processing, materials management, and administrative staff
  • Conduct comprehensive account visits, supporting multiple departments and addressing service or repair needs
  • Prepare and provide sales quotes and service agreements
  • Collaborate with the local sales team to develop and execute compliant sales strategies
  • Train and educate customers on product use, care, and handling
  • Provide troubleshooting support in the operating room and other clinical environments
  • Support video, integration, and interface technologies
  • Assist with order status updates, pricing changes, promotions, and customer inquiries
  • Manage demonstration and evaluation equipment
  • Support product returns and service/repair coordination
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge through required training and field activities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in medical devices, or 2+ years as a KARL STORZ Onsite Specialist
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to travel up to 90% to hospitals, surgery centers, and customer sites
  • Ability to obtain and maintain hospital credentialing
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a sales team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Salesforce experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of operating room, biomedical, or central processing environments (preferred)
  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding performance goals (preferred)
  • Comfort working with advanced technology and medical products (preferred)
  • Flexibility to relocate in the future for career growth (preferred)
