About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Service of Kardex machines within the home region Hamm – Münster – Meschede
- Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, maintenance and safety inspections on installed systems
- Carry out additional service tasks on installed systems
- Quickly detect faults and causes of malfunctions and identify appropriate solutions
- Work on equipment at heights of up to approximately 7 meters
- Serve as a friendly, solution-oriented point of contact for customers
- Participate in the on-call mobile phone rotation on a regular basis
- Advise customers on required service measures
- Support customers with on-site training and instruction
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed technical vocational training as an industrial electronics technician, electrician, mechatronics technician, electrical installer, electronics technician or certified electrical specialist
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Ability to work on systems up to 1000 volts
- Field service experience preferred
- Experience working at heights is an advantage
- Willingness and ability to work at heights of up to 7 meters
- Commitment and customer focus
- Independent and solution-oriented working style
- Class B driving license (valid in Germany) required
- Residence within the Hamm – Münster – Meschede catchment area
- Comfortable working at height
- Fluent German language skills
