About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and build scalable solutions using languages such as .NET (C#/VB.NET), Ruby, Java, or similar technologies.
  • Lead data migration and integration efforts by gathering requirements, documenting business and technical specifications, configuring and building system integrations, supporting client UAT, and resolving integration issues.
  • Facilitate discussions around solution architecture, system landscape, and integrations with third-party applications such as Salesforce, JIRA, NetSuite, and Intacct
  • Develop a strong understanding of Kantata’s technology stack, solution offerings, and the industries we serve.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams and clients to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives and meet quality standards
  • Analyze complex business challenges, align solutions with Kantata capabilities, and ensure proposed implementations drive measurable business value
  • Deliver client solutions using Kantata’s professional services methodology.
  • Partner with the Project Manager to define roles, responsibilities, timelines, and deliverables within the technical workstream
  • Lead technical workshops with clients and third-party integrators.
  • Review and approve solution scoping documents, ensuring alignment prior to architectural review
  • Proactively identify and communicate technical risks, including scope creep, to the Project Manager and broader team
  • Effectively manage personal workload, timelines, and effort estimates across multiple large-scale implementations
  • Drive the technical discovery and solution design process with enterprise clients, ensuring scalable and sustainable solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years industry experience in a customer-facing technical field such as professional services, engineering, consulting or technical support
  • 5+ years experience in technical deployment and project implementation for on-premise/cloud-based commercial software applications, such as ERP, CRM, CMS or similar systems
  • Broad technical knowledge of internet based products and technologies
  • Experience working with relational databases and data interdependence
  • Experience working with REST APIs and JSON data structures
  • Demonstrated technical skills and project implementation experience designing, configuring, and deploying SaaS based software solutions
  • Experience with enterprise architecture, systems architecture, integration architecture and data architecture standards, frameworks, and practices
  • Experience with software implementations, understanding of SDLC and the ability to execute to project plans, produce client facing deliverables
  • Ability to document technical specifications
  • A natural client services mentality; the consistent ability to keep the needs of the client at the forefront of your actions
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment while also seeking guidance as needed
  • A willingness to tackle difficult and complex problems
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Capacity to react quickly to problems as they arise and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Ability to proactively identify scope creep and aid in the process of mitigating risk
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships with customers based on mutual respect, trust and established experience
  • Ability to estimate level of effort for technical solutions.
