About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Handle complex tax matters related to partnership structures
- Preparation of tax workpapers
- Reviewing tax returns

- Providing strategic tax analysis through effective use of technology and data-driven tools
- Collaborate with internal teams, external tax providers, external auditors, and regulatory agencies to minimize tax liabilities, ensure compliance and efficiently handle tax risk
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in accounting – Master’s degree or CPA certification strongly preferred
- Minimum of 3-4 years of tax accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting firm or corporate tax department.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Experience with tax research software, depreciation software (Sage), Microsoft Office Suite and emerging AI-enabled tools.
