About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Carry out month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial statements.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory reporting requirements.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Assist with external audits and liaise with auditors.
Support tax compliance requirements, including GST and corporate tax information.
Support Sage ERP Finance projects, system implementations, and other ad hoc initiatives as required.
Provide support across Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ or equivalent)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
At least one year post-qualified experience
Strong technical knowledge of IFRS (experience with NZ IFRS and/or US GAAP is advantageous)
Strong Excel skills and experience using ERP systems
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Experience in a global, fast growing and dynamic organisation
