About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Carry out month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial statements.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory reporting requirements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Assist with external audits and liaise with auditors.
- Support tax compliance requirements, including GST and corporate tax information.
- Support Sage ERP Finance projects, system implementations, and other ad hoc initiatives as required.
- Provide support across Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ or equivalent)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- At least one year post-qualified experience
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS (experience with NZ IFRS and/or US GAAP is advantageous)
- Strong Excel skills and experience using ERP systems
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Experience in a global, fast growing and dynamic organisation
