About the role

  • Responsible for leading, organizing and motivating the Front Office team
  • Creating staff schedules and managing vacation planning, and taking on Manager-on-Duty (MOD) shifts
  • Supporting the team in day-to-day operations
  • Responsible for professional complaint management
  • Conducting recruitment interviews, performance appraisals and employee meetings
  • Preparing reports and statistics
  • Developing and implementing new processes
  • Conducting training sessions for staff

Requirements

  • You are a host at heart with a strong guest-service mindset and a dedication to fulfilling guest needs
  • Completed vocational training in hospitality or a comparable degree, plus professional experience in a similar role
  • Experience in people management and employee motivation
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Representing the hotel with a professional, positive appearance
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and reliably
  • An open and warm personality
  • Very good German and English language skills
  • Knowledge of Opera PMS hotel software
