About the role
- Responsible for leading, organizing and motivating the Front Office team
- Creating staff schedules and managing vacation planning, and taking on Manager-on-Duty (MOD) shifts
- Supporting the team in day-to-day operations
- Responsible for professional complaint management
- Conducting recruitment interviews, performance appraisals and employee meetings
- Preparing reports and statistics
- Developing and implementing new processes
- Conducting training sessions for staff
Requirements
- You are a host at heart with a strong guest-service mindset and a dedication to fulfilling guest needs
- Completed vocational training in hospitality or a comparable degree, plus professional experience in a similar role
- Experience in people management and employee motivation
- Hands-on mentality
- Representing the hotel with a professional, positive appearance
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and reliably
- An open and warm personality
- Very good German and English language skills
- Knowledge of Opera PMS hotel software
