About the role

  • Direct client strategy & execution: Running paid media engagements for clients and optimizing results
  • Team management & development: Coaching Paid Media Specialists and building scalable systems
  • Cross-functional collaboration & oversight: Partnering with client delivery team leads and ensuring alignment with client goals
  • Own and evolve the Paid Media function at Kalungi, ensuring effective budget allocation
  • Design paid channel strategies tailored to client maturity and budget
  • Build and maintain Kalungi's Paid Media Playbook
  • Act as a strategic consultant to clients and evaluate opportunities beyond paid

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing paid media teams, with a strong track record in B2B SaaS
  • Demonstrated success running performance-driven campaigns across Google, LinkedIn, and Meta
  • Strategic thinker who understands the nuances of go-to-market models (PLG, SLG, MLG)
  • Exceptional communicator with experience leading client engagements
  • Proven ability to lead and coach a high-performing team
  • Deep knowledge of the broader demand generation landscape
  • Advanced proficiency in analytics platforms (Google Analytics 4, HubSpot)
  • Mastery of core paid media tactics: audience segmentation, keyword strategy, copywriting, CRO, retargeting, and platform optimization
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, system builder, and big-picture thinker
