Backend Engineer

• We’re looking for strong backend engineers who love building reliable systems around fragmented, but high-value data.
• As part of the Core Backend team, you’ll work on the systems at the center of Kalepa: designing services, data models, pipelines, and evaluation loops.
• The goal is not just cleaner data, but an intelligence layer that makes better, faster, and more explainable decisions.
• You’ll join a high-ownership team responsible for some of Kalepa’s most business-critical infrastructure.

Staff Backend Engineer – Core Product

Support Engineer

• Investigate reported issues end to end within Kalepa’s AI underwriting platform. Coordinate technical resolution end-to-end.
• Distinguish working-as-expected behavior from genuine bugs, configuration issues, user education gaps, and feature requests.
• Manage your own queue and hit response and resolution targets consistently.
• Draft responses to Kalepa’s clients that are clear, accurate, and resolve the issue without unnecessary back and forth.
• Maintain professional, consistent communication across all client touchpoints.
• File Jira tickets with full diagnostic context when issues are confirmed bugs, so Engineering has what they need to resolve quickly.
• Identify patterns across tickets and surface them to Client Success and Product as themes worth addressing structurally.
• Become an expert user of Kalepa, with deep familiarity across workflows, edge cases, and product behavior. Build and maintain per-client implementation knowledge.

Technical Support Engineer

Implementation Specialist

• Leverage deep expertise in Kalepa's platform, insurance, and our clients' businesses to efficiently configure and deploy Kalepa's AI platform
• Drive initial client setup and configuration, delivering high-value outcomes aligned with client expectations and transitioning seamlessly to a best-practice operating model
• Collaborate with Client Success and Product teams to keep projects on track and on time
• Triage, investigate, and clearly communicate client-reported issues and feedback
• Manage multiple simultaneous implementations by prioritizing effectively and context-switching with ease
• Continuously improve delivery efficiency through scalable processes, and improved documentation and methodologies
• Think critically about how to evolve our internal tools and external-facing workflows as our client base grows

• Own client-facing implementation documentation, including guides, specs, and training materials

Account Manager

• Revenue Ownership & Partner-Led Growth: Own and deliver against a defined partner-sourced revenue target by leading co-sell strategy, joint business planning, and expansion across alliances, with forecast accountability.
• Ecosystem Delivery Strategy: Define the technical and operational requirements for our external partners. You will architect the "connective tissue" that allows partners to act as a seamless extension of our internal delivery teams
• Establish relationships with the Insurance ecosystem including but not limited to data partners, strategy firms, Policy Administration Systems, Pricing solutions, and other potential integration partners. .
• Partner Enablement & Certification: Build and manage the global "Kalepa Standard" for external implementations. You are responsible for the technical proficiency of our partners, ensuring they are enabled on our most advanced platform features.
• Operational Governance: Own the "Partner Scorecard." You will monitor partner-led implementation quality, stabilization speed, and client satisfaction to ensure our brand promise is met externally.
• Strategic Alliance Management: Serve as the primary operational lead for Tier-1 global partnerships. You will move these alliances from high-level agreements to active, high-performing co-delivery motions in the field.
• GTM & Product Bridge: Act as the technical voice of the ecosystem. Feed partner insights back to R&D to improve the "implementability" of our products and work with Sales to bake partner strategy into our largest enterprise pursuits.

• Kalepa is looking for a technically-focused Principal Product Manager with 7+ years of experience to be a leader within our Product team.
• You will be expected to set strategy and drive execution for major product areas of Kalepa’s core underwriting product: working closely with engineers, designers, and other technical resources to deliver on Kalepa’s product vision and unlock value for users.
• You will be expected to define and own the long-term roadmap, mentor other product managers, and contribute to Kalepa’s culture and commercial success.
