About the role

  • Create and coordinate project deployment plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Inform site management of project impacts
  • Prepare training documents for operators and vendors
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met
  • Conduct equipment inventory
  • Evaluate site discovery findings and build site VLAN structures
  • Assign new IP addresses and create updated network diagrams
  • Prepare and present designs for Architecture Review Committee
  • Raise policy exception and risk acceptance tickets
  • Provide support and training for site personnel and vendors after cutover is completed
  • Install and configure security tools as needed
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and practices
  • Finalize As-Built documentation
  • Understand technical aspects of projects to effectively manage and communicate with technical teams
  • Primary technical design decision maker and informing leadership of decisions made

Requirements

  • Minimum of Associates Degree in a technical area (computer science, networking, engineering, Automation, Electrical etc.), Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise-level technology operations and services, network-specific preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing environments with a 24/7 operating requirement
  • Highly motivated, self-starters comfortable working in a cross-functional global team
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and succeed in an environment of competing priorities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment; willingness to learn new skills and take direction from other team members; ability to organize information and manage time efficiently
  • Expected travel 50%.
