Procurement Officer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, vendor selection, and contract negotiation.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential vendors and assess their capabilities, pricing, and quality of products or services.
- Evaluate and negotiate supplier agreements and contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Create and issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Work closely with internal teams to identify procurement needs and specifications.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any invoice or delivery discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, orders, and vendor information.
- Monitor and track supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
- Implement and maintain procurement policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in procurement.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and principles.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of legal and commercial aspects of procurement.
- Experience in the real estate industry is a plus.
