About the role

  • Independently conduct and coordinate BEM procedures in accordance with § 167 (2) SGB IX
  • Provide advice and support to employees after prolonged or repeated periods of incapacity for work
  • Prepare, moderate and document BEM meetings
  • Work closely with managers, HR, employee representatives and internal and external network partners (e.g., occupational health service, rehabilitation agencies)
  • Develop individual measures for sustainable reintegration
  • Contribute to the further development of BEM structures and prevention concepts
  • Ensure data protection and confidentiality throughout the entire BEM process

Requirements

  • University degree in Social Work, Social Pedagogy or comparable qualification
  • Qualification as a systemic counselor, mediator or equivalent additional training
  • Several years of experience in counseling, preferably in the field of vocational integration
  • Knowledge of labor and social law, in particular rehabilitation law
  • Trustworthiness and a high degree of discretion when handling personal matters of colleagues
  • Empathetic, clear and professional communication skills, including in sensitive or conflictual situations
  • Reliable cooperation with managers, occupational health service, employee representation, occupational safety and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Structured, transparent and careful documentation of BEM processes and confident handling of confidential data
  • Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration and a solution-oriented, appreciative working style
