About the role
- Own and manage a portfolio of client accounts with responsibility for retention, renewal, and expansion
- Build deep, trusted relationships with client stakeholders and decision-makers
- Partner closely with Customer Success and Delivery teams to ensure clients achieve defined outcomes
- Proactively identify expansion opportunities based on client goals, usage, and performance
- Lead renewal conversations with a focus on value realization and long-term partnership
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, surfacing insights to improve services, processes, and offerings
- Drive predictable, sustainable revenue growth through account expansion rather than transactional selling
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Account Management, Account Executive, or Customer Success–focused sales roles
- Proven experience managing existing client relationships, renewals, and upsell/expansion
- Strong consultative skills with the ability to uncover client needs and align solutions to outcomes
- Experience collaborating with Customer Success, Delivery, or Implementation teams
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities with strong organization and follow-through
- Comfort using CRM tools and data to track account health and opportunities
- Up to 15% travel
- Experience in B2B services, SaaS, or recurring-revenue environments (preferred)
- Familiarity with customer success frameworks (health scores, success plans, QBRs) (preferred)
- Experience leading strategic account reviews or renewal planning (preferred)
