About the role
- Technical and disciplinary management of the mine surveying department at two locations
- Independent planning and execution of mine surveying projects
- Leading and supervising mine surveying activities in accordance with applicable legal regulations
- Carrying out surveying and geotechnical tasks of all kinds above and below ground, including analysis and documentation
- GIS and CAD processing to update mining maps and plans
- Preparation of thematic maps and plans from the existing data inventory
- Use of various surveying instruments such as total stations (tachymeters), levels, laser scanners and satellite surveying methods
Requirements
- Degree in Mine Surveying (Dipl.-Ing. or Master's)
- Completed practical training (Referendariat/AdM) with recognition as a certified Mine Surveyor by a state mining authority
- Professional experience or internships in mining operations is an advantage
- IT skills in GIS, CAD and MS Office applications
- Teamwork, assertiveness and safety-conscious conduct
- Medical fitness for sustained underground work (fit for working underground)
- Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken, and a valid driver's license (Class B) — regular travel between sites is required
