About the role

  • Technical and disciplinary management of the mine surveying department at two locations
  • Independent planning and execution of mine surveying projects
  • Leading and supervising mine surveying activities in accordance with applicable legal regulations
  • Carrying out surveying and geotechnical tasks of all kinds above and below ground, including analysis and documentation
  • GIS and CAD processing to update mining maps and plans
  • Preparation of thematic maps and plans from the existing data inventory
  • Use of various surveying instruments such as total stations (tachymeters), levels, laser scanners and satellite surveying methods

Requirements

  • Degree in Mine Surveying (Dipl.-Ing. or Master's)
  • Completed practical training (Referendariat/AdM) with recognition as a certified Mine Surveyor by a state mining authority
  • Professional experience or internships in mining operations is an advantage
  • IT skills in GIS, CAD and MS Office applications
  • Teamwork, assertiveness and safety-conscious conduct
  • Medical fitness for sustained underground work (fit for working underground)
  • Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken, and a valid driver's license (Class B) — regular travel between sites is required
