About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Carry demo equipment (always including accessories and detergents) on vehicles.
- Ensure market share in area through recruiting and training qualified distributors.
- Travel and meet with distributors at their location(s).
- Assist distributors in the development of their sales, service and parts departments.
- Keep technically up to date about the line.
- Know how to sell, operate, and identify equipment and know which piece of equipment to recommend for use in different situations.
- Teach the benefits and features of our product line versus the competition.
- Develop a consultant-oriented relationship with all customers serviced in assigned area.
- Manage an annual sales and expense budget for assigned area.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
- Three plus years of successful industrial sales experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
