About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead national and international pharmaceutical MES IT-software projects
Plan and manage project budgets
Manage internal and external stakeholders
Serve as the first line of contact for Japanese customer requests and issues
Deliver products and services focused on Japanese customer satisfaction
Provide technical guidance to internal and partner project team members and manage resources
Execute status, steering, and team meetings and provide regular project status reports
Create and maintain project-specific documentation
Support and develop internal project management processes
Support the sales process where required, including presenting potential project plans to clients
Mentor and develop junior team members, focusing on effective teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Engineering or Computer Science is required
A Master of Science Degree is preferred
Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in software projects
Experience in the life science/pharma sector is preferred
Business acumen and understanding of customers' full life cycle value
Ability to identify potential risks and solve conflicts
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese
Strong analytical skills with understanding of business impact of decisions
Self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic personality
Ability to work independently
Thorough understanding of the software project life cycle
Project management certification such as PMP or IPMA is a plus
