About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead national and international pharmaceutical MES IT-software projects
- Plan and manage project budgets
- Manage internal and external stakeholders
- Serve as the first line of contact for Japanese customer requests and issues
- Deliver products and services focused on Japanese customer satisfaction
- Provide technical guidance to internal and partner project team members and manage resources
- Execute status, steering, and team meetings and provide regular project status reports
- Create and maintain project-specific documentation
- Support and develop internal project management processes
- Support the sales process where required, including presenting potential project plans to clients
- Mentor and develop junior team members, focusing on effective teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Engineering or Computer Science is required
- A Master of Science Degree is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in software projects
- Experience in the life science/pharma sector is preferred
- Business acumen and understanding of customers' full life cycle value
- Ability to identify potential risks and solve conflicts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese
- Strong analytical skills with understanding of business impact of decisions
- Self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic personality
- Ability to work independently
- Thorough understanding of the software project life cycle
- Project management certification such as PMP or IPMA is a plus
