About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead national and international pharmaceutical MES IT-software projects
  • Plan and manage project budgets
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Serve as the first line of contact for Japanese customer requests and issues
  • Deliver products and services focused on Japanese customer satisfaction
  • Provide technical guidance to internal and partner project team members and manage resources
  • Execute status, steering, and team meetings and provide regular project status reports
  • Create and maintain project-specific documentation
  • Support and develop internal project management processes
  • Support the sales process where required, including presenting potential project plans to clients
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, focusing on effective teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Engineering or Computer Science is required
  • A Master of Science Degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in software projects
  • Experience in the life science/pharma sector is preferred
  • Business acumen and understanding of customers' full life cycle value
  • Ability to identify potential risks and solve conflicts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese
  • Strong analytical skills with understanding of business impact of decisions
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic personality
  • Ability to work independently
  • Thorough understanding of the software project life cycle
  • Project management certification such as PMP or IPMA is a plus
