About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage technical clarification for customer inquiries in the form of quotes and orders to upgrade and convert machines and sub-units, as well as partial overhaul machines and new machines
Quality inspection of kits and conversions and machines
Support Account Administrators in Order Processing, Purchasing, Sales and Assembly as well as Körber Technologies concerning customer inquiries/orders requiring technical clarification to minimize the time in which customers receive a response and/or to ensure that orders are executed in a technically correct manner
Ensure that all pertinent technical information on inquiries/orders clarification is kept on file in an orderly fashion to allow referencing
Maintain and update history files for equipment installed at customer site
Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field
Equivalent work experience in a mechanical environment or industrial engineering environment may be considered
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a technical support, design, engineering role or prior experience with Körber Technologies products or similar machinery
Proficient in English (oral and written)
Proficiency in German is preferred due to the nature of technical documentation and communication with global teams
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Experienced with SAP or similar ERP systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Able to interpret technical drawings, specifications and customer documentation in 2D and 3D
