About the role
- Support the full bid development process from RFP receipt through proposal submission
- Lead material handling system design efforts using client data and requirements
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise in material handling equipment, system technologies, and operational processes
- Provide technical leadership during the sales phase, building client trust through industry-leading solutions
- Create and document the Basis of Design and Description of Operations
- Collaborate with clients to develop weighted Selection Criteria Matrices
- Support projects ranging from $100K to $250M
- Transition awarded projects to execution teams by working closely with operations
Requirements
- At least three years of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Familiar with core customer specifications and strong ability to document technical decisions with illustrations and clear verbal explanations
- Proficient in automation layout and design with AutoCAD 2D and Navisworks
- Working knowledge of 3D CAD modeling and drafting
- Basic understanding of automation controls and an interest in cross-discipline responsibilities
- Able to travel - 25%
