About the role
- Manage all aspects of assigned projects, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and stakeholder communication
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams and subcontractors, setting priorities and resolving conflicts as needed
- Ensure system designs meet all contractual and technical requirements
- Develop, maintain, and control the project master schedule to ensure timely completion
- Monitor and report project progress on a weekly and monthly basis
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and project participants
- Manage risk throughout the project lifecycle and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Maintain overall responsibility for the project budget, aiming to deliver results within or below financial targets
- Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, fostering collaboration and team development
- Perform additional duties as required to support project execution and organizational objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field; equivalent industry experience may also be considered
- 5–8+ years of project management experience with increasing responsibility and complexity, ideally in automation, parcel, warehouse, or similar industries
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects valued at over $50 million
- Experience working in international or cross-functional team environments
- Strong project planning and execution skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency in coordinating subcontractors and managing vendor relationships
- Ability to manage diverse stakeholder groups in complex environments
- High level of organizational skill and attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Scrum
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in project scheduling tools and familiarity with ERP or project management systems
- Able to travel up to 50% or as required based on project needs
- PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or similar certification—preferred but not required
- Experience managing cross-functional or remote teams
- Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
