About the role

  • Development and design of secondary packaging, with a focus on folding cartons, taking into account internal standards and customer specifications
  • Coordination and technical consultation on packaging matters with internal and external stakeholders as well as customers
  • Selection and decision-making regarding the use of specialty materials
  • Development of design standards
  • Creation and system entry of drawings and sample production using a plotter for internal and external customers
  • Execution of packaging tests and validations

Requirements

  • Degree in Packaging Engineering or vocational qualification as a Packaging Technologist (EFZ) with several years of professional experience
  • Solid knowledge in the development of rigid/folding cartons; experience with corrugated board is an advantage
  • Excellent German and English skills; good knowledge of French is an advantage
  • Good CAD (e.g., Artios) and Office skills; SAP experience is an advantage
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Open, communicative and team-oriented

  • Strong spatial awareness and 3D visualization skills
