About the role
- You are responsible for developing Windows applications to control high-precision, PC-based measurement devices and for designing automated measurement procedures to ensure efficient processes
- Your tasks include visualizing measurement and process data, archiving and performing statistical analyses, and passing relevant information to higher-level systems
- You develop software in C# and C++, tailored to the respective target platforms
- You are responsible for the entire development lifecycle — from analysis, conception and design through implementation, testing and documentation to installation and subsequent maintenance of the products
Requirements
- You have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Technical Computer Science, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification
- You have experience in software development with C# and C++ and solid knowledge of the operating systems MS Windows (7 Embedded, 10 IoT, 11) and Linux
- You have good English skills and basic knowledge of German
- You are proficient with MS Visual Studio and have experience with version control
- You are familiar with interfaces and data transmission and have some know‑how in database development for measurement and process data (MS SQL Server, SQLite)
- Ideally, you have experience with agile software development using Jira and Confluence
- Your communication skills, team orientation, and your responsible and structured way of working complete your profile
