About the role
- Design and development of innovative automation and control software
- Analysis of complex requirements and technical feasibility assessments for complete machines or specific functionalities
- Programming and implementation of new software developments, including commissioning
- Standardization and maintenance of the software concept in collaboration with the team
- Close cooperation with the mechanical design/engineering department during the concept and development phases
- Taking responsibility for automation within development projects
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Systems Engineering or a related field
- Solid knowledge of PLC programming (B&R experience advantageous)
- Experience with HMI systems, machine vision and safety systems is a plus
- Knowledge of Java (high-level language) and Structured Text (ST)
- Professional experience in industrial automation within machine engineering
- Confident communication skills in German and English (minimum level B2)
