About the role

  • Collaborate with executive management to define long-term objectives for the company and coordinate with OEM customers
  • Represent the company to customers, partners and suppliers — both nationally and internationally
  • Build and maintain a network within OEMs to gather information on new programs and product developments
  • Promote customer relationship management through regular on-site meetings
  • Take an active lead in the quotation process for program acquisition and contract changes for all responsible programs
  • Prepare and implement new business strategies and/or order-acquisition strategies for regional and global programs
  • Ensure the accuracy of data used for sales forecasts
  • Monitor and report on competitive market conditions, including pricing, market presence, technology, quality, etc.

Requirements

  • Degree in business administration or a technical/engineering field
  • Several years of experience working with major OEMs in the automotive and commercial vehicle industry
  • Experience in program management within an OEM environment
  • Extensive industry knowledge of customers and competitors
  • Understanding of advanced product quality planning processes (e.g., APQP)
  • Strong understanding of cost structures and cost drivers
  • Assertive with strong negotiation skills and a high sense of responsibility
  • Very good written and spoken English
  • Confident use of MS Office products and ERP systems
