About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct comprehensive virtual consultations and follow-up visits for adult patients
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage common endocrine disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical needs, history, laboratory results, and other relevant data
- Manage diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary disorders, and other general endocrinology conditions
- Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing
- Prescribe medications and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate
- Educate patients about conditions, treatment options, medications, and lifestyle modifications
- Coordinate care with primary care providers and other healthcare team members when appropriate
- Use AI-enabled clinical and administrative tools for documentation, information review, workflow efficiency, and patient care
- Exercise independent clinical judgment and retain responsibility for diagnoses, treatment decisions, and patient care
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic medical records
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care consistent with clinical standards and telehealth requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Board-certified Endocrinologist
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Endocrinology fellowship
- Board certified in Endocrinology
- Active, unrestricted medical license(s) in the state(s) where patients are located
- DEA registration
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Comfortable providing care through telehealth technology
- Comfortable working with technology and AI-supported clinical tools
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a virtual care team
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
