About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review project quotes and scopes before beginning onsite execution
  • Inspect installation sites and study work orders, architectural plans, and installation methods
  • Install low voltage cabling, devices, and systems according to specifications, relevant codes, and industry practices
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with installed systems
  • Conduct routine maintenance and system inspections
  • Respond to service calls and customer inquiries
  • Travel extensively, mostly within the Midwest, including occasional weekends for multiple sites
  • Provide customer training on system operations
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain customer satisfaction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Hands-on/field experience from previous work experience
  • Working knowledge of basic IT networking, configurations, and IP addressing
  • Ability to read architectural drawings
  • Team management/supervisor experience
  • Experience completing projects within scope
  • Experience with service ticketing processes
  • Knowledge of fire, CCTV, intrusion, or emergency nurse call systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must have a valid US driver's license
