About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Reviews project quotes and scopes before beginning an onsite execution
- Inspects installation sites, studies work orders, architectural plans, and comprehensive installation methods
- Installs low voltage cabling, devices, and systems, adhering to precise specifications, relevant codes, and industry practices, as directed by their supervisor
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with installed systems
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of systems as needed
- Respond promptly to service calls and customer inquiries
- Travel extensively across mostly within the Midwest and on occasion weekends that are necessary for multiple sites; Home most weekends
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain customer satisfaction
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hands-on/field experience from previous work experience
- Possesses and maintains a working knowledge of basic IT networking, configurations and IP addressing
- Ability to read architectural drawings
- Team management/supervisor experience
- Previous experience completing projects within scope
- Previous experience with service ticketing processes
- Any previous knowledge in fire, CCTV, intrusion, emergency nurse call systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have valid US Driver’s license
