About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Reviews project quotes and scopes before beginning an onsite execution
  • Inspects installation sites, studies work orders, architectural plans, and comprehensive installation methods
  • Installs low voltage cabling, devices, and systems, adhering to precise specifications, relevant codes, and industry practices, as directed by their supervisor
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with installed systems
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of systems as needed
  • Respond promptly to service calls and customer inquiries
  • Travel extensively across mostly within the Midwest and on occasion weekends that are necessary for multiple sites; Home most weekends
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain customer satisfaction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Hands-on/field experience from previous work experience
  • Possesses and maintains a working knowledge of basic IT networking, configurations and IP addressing
  • Ability to read architectural drawings
  • Team management/supervisor experience
  • Previous experience completing projects within scope
  • Previous experience with service ticketing processes
  • Any previous knowledge in fire, CCTV, intrusion, emergency nurse call systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must have valid US Driver’s license
