About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define application and workflow requirements with clients, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders
Lead backlog refinement sessions and write epics and detailed user stories
Translate business requirements into actionable improvement plans
Validate solutions against client definitions of “done”
Develop business and system use cases, functional, non-functional, and operational requirements
Represent the client solution owner in backlog prioritization, feature sequencing, sprint planning/grooming, and user acceptance testing
Participate in quality control and testing activities
Elicit and document business requirements, decomposing Epics into Features and User Stories with detailed acceptance criteria
Assist with operational transition, internal and client training, knowledge transfer, and SOP documentation
Lead or participate in onsite or virtual client requirements workshops
Explore potential technical solutions with clients
Document final as-built configurations and demo end-to-end solutions for client acceptance
Report to the Manager – Technical Delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college preferred, or equivalent experience
5+ years of recent experience as a business analyst or similar role writing requirements and developing process flows for custom solutions
2+ years’ experience as a business analyst with Healthcare, US Federal, or Military end clients
Experience in consulting, software development, and implementations in a client-facing role
Ability to understand complex software workflow platforms and collaborate with technical personnel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating collaboration and adaptability
Ability to organize, plan, and manage follow-up action
Familiarity with project management and/or software development tools such as JIRA, Rally, MS Project, and Confluence
Passion for technology and curiosity to learn new skills and technology with a fail-fast approach
Passion for providing excellent value to clients
Position subject to Export Administration Regulations compliance and may require U.S. person status verification
