About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and develop a regional payroll team
Oversee end-to-end payroll processes in all active APAC countries
Design and implement localized workflows
Provide internal payroll expertise and strategic guidance
Ensure accurate quarterly and year-end processing
Stay current on evolving payroll-related laws and regulations
Act as a key stakeholder and subject matter expert
Support internal control and compliance efforts
Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of experience in international payroll operations
2+ years of experience managing a regional or international payroll team
Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and statutory requirements across multiple APAC countries
Proven experience in leveraging and optimizing payroll software and global platforms
Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to perform complex data analysis and financial modeling
Excellent client-facing and communication skills
Strong interpersonal and team-building skills
Relevant professional certifications would be a significant advantage.
