About the role

  • Proactively manage and monitor a pipeline of accounts with a focus on growth and new business development
  • Conduct regular outbound calls and virtual meetings to identify customer needs, present solutions and drive sales opportunities
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
  • Consistently meet and exceed assigned sales targets, account retention goals, and territory growth objectives
  • Travel within the assigned territory to meet face-to-face with customers
  • Develop territory and account growth strategies in alignment with company objectives
  • Maintain accurate records of activity, pipeline, and results in CRM

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years sales experience preferably within B2B sales environment
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, negotiate and close sales with small to medium size accounts
  • Excellent independent multi-task planning, product development, and organization skills
  • Ability to prepare and analyze sales data to monitor performance and identify trends
  • Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time
  • Proficient in MS Office products and Salesforce.com or similar CRM
