About the role
- Proactively manage and monitor a pipeline of accounts with a focus on growth and new business development
- Conduct regular outbound calls and virtual meetings to identify customer needs, present solutions and drive sales opportunities
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
- Consistently meet and exceed assigned sales targets, account retention goals, and territory growth objectives
- Travel within the assigned territory to meet face-to-face with customers
- Develop territory and account growth strategies in alignment with company objectives
- Maintain accurate records of activity, pipeline, and results in CRM
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years sales experience preferably within B2B sales environment
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, negotiate and close sales with small to medium size accounts
- Excellent independent multi-task planning, product development, and organization skills
- Ability to prepare and analyze sales data to monitor performance and identify trends
- Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time
- Proficient in MS Office products and Salesforce.com or similar CRM
