About the role
- - Design, build, deploy, and iterate on backend services and APIs that support internal and external integrations
- - Own and improve the reliability, scalability, and security of integration systems
- - Collaborate closely with Product Managers, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver well-defined, dependable integrations
- - Contribute to platform-level concerns such as observability, incident response, and operational excellence
- - Improve development workflows, documentation, and CI/CD pipelines
- - Help define best practices and technical standards for integration development across the organization
- - Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring other engineers
Requirements
- - Golang Expertise: 3+ years of professional experience with Golang
- - Backend & API Design: Strong experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend services
- - Database Skills: Solid experience with SQL and data layer design
- - Cloud Savvy: Extensive hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, Cognito, Lambda, RDS) and/or Google Cloud (GKE)
- - CI/CD Champion: Proficiency with modern CI/CD workflows and tools like GitHub Actions, Codefresh, or ArgoCD
- - Testing Pro: Proficiency with modern testing patterns and tools
- - Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with JIRA, GitHub, and Confluence
- - AI First Development: Thoughtfully collaborate with AI tools to increase efficiency and decrease time from idea to production
- - Dallas-based, ideally within commuting distance of our Dallas office to work in a hybrid model**
- Bonus Experience
- - Experience building or maintaining integration platforms or partner-facing APIs.
- - Experience working with distributed systems.
- - Experience with event-driven architectures, messaging systems, or asynchronous workflows.
- Education and Certifications
- - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent education preferred.
