About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develops and implements health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations
Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks
Perform Regulatory reviews of products, intermediates, raw materials, and end-use applications
Perform full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness
Perform safety surveys and inspections
Maintain environmental reports and reporting including Storm water permits, SPCC, TCEQ, EPA, TTB, etc
Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
Conduct follow up audits to monitor corrections and continued compliance
Investigate, document, analyze and provide resolution for any regulatory compliance concerns that arise
Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associates degree in related field
At least 2 years’ experience in Regulatory and/or HSE
Knowledge and experience in a major area of Government Regulatory compliance (USA e.g., FDA, OSHA, EPA, TSCA).
Knowledge of USA, Canada, and Europe Regulatory Environment, Health and Safety laws.
