About the role
- Work closely with Business Operations and Analytics team to bridge the gap between business challenges and data-driven solutions
- Automate processes, analyze complex datasets, and create actionable insights that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support strategic decision-making
- Translate key business metrics and challenges into actionable data projects
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Assess data validity and ensure datasets are clean, accurate, and prepared for analysis
- Build and maintain Python scripts to automate processes and workflows
- Create analysis, reports, and dashboards using SQL/Python to effectively communicate findings
- Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role
- Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation
- Advanced skills in SQL for querying and data manipulation
- Experience with PostgreSQL or equivalent relational databases
- Experience with visualization tools like Looker, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Expertise in data validation, cleaning, and preparation techniques
- Proven ability to connect data insights to business problems and implement impactful solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to start with ambiguous problems, access and analyze relevant data, and draw meaningful conclusions
- Strong focus on data accuracy and the ability to produce reliable analysis
- Demonstrated ability to continuously learn, work independently, and make sound decisions with minimal supervision
- Ability to take ownership and drive projects from initiation through completion
