About the role

  • As Team Lead Software Development, you take on the technical leadership of a dedicated development team and play a key role in the strategic and operational advancement of our internal software solutions.
  • You coordinate development projects, contribute technical vision, and support your team in implementing modern, sustainable software architectures.
  • In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you act as a driver for technological innovation and process improvements across the development lifecycle.
  • In a flat-hierarchy environment you will actively help shape our work, take ownership, and foster an open, solution-oriented team culture.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science or Software Development
  • Several years of experience in software development and solid knowledge of modern web technologies
  • Very good knowledge of HTML, HTMX and CSS
  • Experience in technical and/or disciplinary leadership of development teams or project responsibility
  • Strategic and technical understanding for evolving complex software solutions
  • Confident work with relational databases (MariaDB/MySQL/DuckDB), ORMs (e.g., Laravel Eloquent) and software testing (PHPUnit / Pest)
  • Good knowledge of Git and modern development workflows
  • Experience with IT infrastructure is a plus—especially collaboration with DevOps, working with Docker environments, or building efficient development and deployment processes
  • Strong communication skills, team spirit, and a high degree of personal responsibility
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
