About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as the technical reference and manage the team (technical leadership + people management)
Lead the modernization of the legacy system in Python 2.7 toward microservices, providing stability and extending the application's lifespan
Ensure platform reliability, observability, and security
Handle high event throughput and load balancing while maintaining processing SLAs
Lead the decommissioning of jurispec/BPO and migrate clients to the proprietary API
Set clear priorities in a high-volume environment with multiple stakeholders and overlapping demands
Maintain direct technical communication with the product team and, when necessary, with clients

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong proficiency in Python
Experience applying AI to software development
Experience with databases
General DevOps knowledge: GCP, Kubernetes, and Docker
Knowledge of security (context of recurring pentests)
Experience with monoliths and microservices
Experience with large-scale and legacy systems
Good communication with technical and product stakeholders
Technical leadership and people management (both)
Resilience in high-priority situations with overlapping demands
Ownership and maturity to keep systems running
Strong prioritization and clarity in decision-making with trade-offs
Curiosity and ability to learn quickly
