About the role
- Develops and implements comprehensive environmental and sustainability programs in accordance with legal requirements.
- Conduct Environmental Assessments, site audits, inspections.
- Organize and conduct pertinent training programs for employees.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to determine root causes.
- Ensure that the organization complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental science or a related field.
- 5 years previous industry experience in environmental work required.
- Willingness to travel, as needed, to support site risk assessments, audits and training.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, data analysis, and engineering principles related to environmental science.
