About the role

  • Design and implement sophisticated data engineering and data science pipelines to support business applications and AI models.
  • Responsible for routine DataOP and MLOP operations.
  • Maintain and enhance real-time trading tools for informed decision-making.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Explore and adopt research on emerging trends in data engineering, data science, AI, and energy storage to drive innovation.
  • Partner with teams across engineering, finance, and operations to deliver impactful data engineering solutions.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
  • 2+ years in full stack software programming and software development.
  • 2+ years in data engineering, machine learning, and Excel-based automated workflows with Visual Basic (nice to have).
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks platform and Spark framework such as PySpark.
  • Programming proficiency in Python, PySpark, and Visual Basic.
  • Good understanding of data profiling, quality evaluation, and statistical methods.
  • Proven success managing data and machine learning projects across full model lifecycles, using DevOps, DataOps and MLOps best practices.
  • Prefer to have full stack software development skills including to both front end and backend.
