About the role
- Design and implement sophisticated data engineering and data science pipelines to support business applications and AI models.
- Responsible for routine DataOP and MLOP operations.
- Maintain and enhance real-time trading tools for informed decision-making.
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Explore and adopt research on emerging trends in data engineering, data science, AI, and energy storage to drive innovation.
- Partner with teams across engineering, finance, and operations to deliver impactful data engineering solutions.
Requirements
- Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
- 2+ years in full stack software programming and software development.
- 2+ years in data engineering, machine learning, and Excel-based automated workflows with Visual Basic (nice to have).
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Hands-on experience with Databricks platform and Spark framework such as PySpark.
- Programming proficiency in Python, PySpark, and Visual Basic.
- Good understanding of data profiling, quality evaluation, and statistical methods.
- Proven success managing data and machine learning projects across full model lifecycles, using DevOps, DataOps and MLOps best practices.
- Prefer to have full stack software development skills including to both front end and backend.
