About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze documents and information related to underwriting of structured and traditional risks.
Make strategic decisions regarding analyses performed.
Gather detailed information about clients' activities within their markets.
Prepare risk underwriting opinions/reports, draft policy documents, and issue policies and endorsements.
Maintain contact with involved departments to clarify questions during the process.
Lead underwriting projects and collaborate with senior management to define risk strategies.
Participate in and lead meetings with clients.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
Experience in underwriting analyses for traditional and structured risks.
Knowledge of SUSEP circulars related to Surety Insurance (Nos. 477 and 662), CNSP Resolution 407/2021, Public Procurement Laws (Laws 8.666/93, 13.303/16 and 14.133/21), and the New Insurance Law.
Intermediate/Fluent English (will be considered a plus).
Knowledge of credit analysis.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Additional courses in Surety Insurance and Reinsurance.
