Senior Risk Underwriting Analyst

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze documents and information related to underwriting of structured and traditional risks.
- Make strategic decisions regarding analyses performed.
- Gather detailed information about clients' activities within their markets.
- Prepare risk underwriting opinions/reports, draft policy documents, and issue policies and endorsements.
- Maintain contact with involved departments to clarify questions during the process.
- Lead underwriting projects and collaborate with senior management to define risk strategies.
- Participate in and lead meetings with clients.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
- Experience in underwriting analyses for traditional and structured risks.
- Knowledge of SUSEP circulars related to Surety Insurance (Nos. 477 and 662), CNSP Resolution 407/2021, Public Procurement Laws (Laws 8.666/93, 13.303/16 and 14.133/21), and the New Insurance Law.
- Intermediate/Fluent English (will be considered a plus).
- Knowledge of credit analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Additional courses in Surety Insurance and Reinsurance.
