About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze documents and information related to risk underwriting (tenders, contracts, etc.);
  • Make strategic decisions regarding the analyses performed;
  • Gather detailed information about clients’ activities within their markets;
  • Prepare risk underwriting opinions, draft documentation, and issue policies and endorsements;
  • Maintain contact with involved departments to clarify questions during the process;
  • Lead underwriting projects and collaborate with senior management to define risk strategies.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
  • Experience in risk analysis for Surety (Guarantee) Insurance, in Traditional lines;
  • Knowledge of SUSEP circulars related to Surety Insurance (477 and 662), CNSP Resolution 407/2021, Public Procurement/Bidding laws (Law 8.666/93, Law 13.303/16, and Law 14.133/21) and Law 15.040/2024.
  • Knowledge of credit analysis;
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Basic to Intermediate English.
  • Additional training: supplementary courses in Surety Insurance and Reinsurance.
