About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prospect and develop new customer relationships with schools and libraries
- Manage and grow an active pipeline of sales opportunities
- Execute consistent outbound call and email outreach
- Drive renewals and identify opportunities for expansion within existing accounts
- Conduct consultative sales conversations and recommend subscription solutions
- Maintain accurate CRM records, next steps, and follow-up activity
- Work independently while staying aligned with team goals and expectations
- Participate in coaching, training, and performance reviews
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of quota-carrying inside sales experience in an outbound environment
- Experience selling into K–12 schools, districts, libraries, EdTech, curriculum, publishing, or a closely related education market
- Direct school library sales experience strongly preferred
- Proven success prospecting, managing a pipeline, and closing business
- Strong call discipline and comfort with consistent outbound activity
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting clear performance expectations
- CRM discipline, including accurate records, next steps, pipeline management, and follow-up activity
- Highly organized, coachable, competitive, resilient, and results-driven.
