About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and own the technical roadmap for full-stack features spanning backend services, APIs, and our React/React Native frontend ecosystem.
Make architectural decisions on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
Design systems that handle millions of concurrent users with high availability requirements.
Architect and develop complex, high-performance mobile and web applications.
Own and scale our mobile app, written in React Native for iOS and Android.
Develop backend microservices in Kotlin/Spring Boot, Python FastAPI and TypeScript/Node.js.
Build event-driven pipelines with Kafka (producers, consumers, schema registry, exactly-once semantics).
Provide technical mentorship and coaching to engineers at all levels.
Collaborate with Product Managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of professional software development experience at product companies.
3+ years of deep, hands-on expertise with React.js and React Native.
3+ years of hands-on backend development with Kotlin (Spring Boot strongly preferred).
2+ years in technical leadership roles (Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, or equivalent).
Proven track record of building and scaling production applications serving millions of users.
