About the role

  • Negotiate main contracts and manage contract and commercial management during project execution
  • Support project delivery to ensure successful realisation in accordance with project contract management strategy
  • Work side by side with the project management team to balance risk with commercially and contractually viable solutions
  • Keep continuous overview of critical milestones and assess and manage rights and obligations according to the contract
  • Direct and process changes, variations and claims and ensure implementation protects client’s commercial interests
  • Provide interpretation of contracts, organise and process correspondence with contracting parties and monitor fulfilment of contractual obligations
  • Manage commercial relationship and communication with contractors during execution, maintaining proactive dialogue
  • Ensure timely delivery of the contract within the set mandate
  • Drive governance processes and prepare presentation material for stakeholders and decision bodies such as the Steering Committee
  • Contribute to developing processes regarding contract management
  • Opportunity to be involved in business development, marketing and training & development initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field of study
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a matrix organization
  • Experience within offshore wind, the renewable energy industry and/or other major infrastructure and energy projects
  • Experience with leading and managing key project contracts
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
  • Structured and methodical way of working
  • Ability to project manage processes and lead negotiations
