About the role
- Manage a varied caseload of probate and trust matters
- Provide advice on trusts and probate law to clients
- Assist contentious fee-earners within the team where necessary
- Take on significant client-facing responsibilities, representing clients in sensitive and high-stakes matters
- Work collaboratively within the CS Litigation Team to deliver legal services
- Operate within a mature hybrid working model and maintain a healthy work/life balance
- This is a maternity contract with prospect of being longer term
Requirements
- Qualified to practice in England & Wales / registered legal executive
- Completed the Legal Practice Course
- Fully qualified STEP member (preferable but not essential)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar field (or ability to demonstrate equivalent skills)
- Experience preferably gained in a Legal 500 ranked firm
- Experience of delivering excellent customer care in a legal environment
- Up to date knowledge of wills, trusts and probate processes, procedures and legislation
