About the role
- Responsibility for the overall electrical architecture of grid connections in the high and extra-high voltage range
- Development of technical concepts for substations, grid connections and protection and control systems
- Independent design/sizing of key components such as transformers and switchgear
- Close collaboration with transmission and distribution system operators (TSO/DSO)
- Management of grid connection processes and implementation of regulatory requirements
- Support of projects from planning through commissioning
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field
- Several years of experience (5+ years) in the high- or extra-high-voltage sector
- Solid knowledge in the planning and design of substations and grid connections
- Familiarity with TSO and/or DSO structures and their requirements
- Knowledge of regulations, standards and technical guidelines in Germany
- System-level thinking and clear decision-making ability
- Regular presence in Munich for coordination and project work
- Fluent German and very good English
