Benefit and Sales Consultant
JTS FinancialBenefit and Sales Consultant providing expertise in employee benefits enrollment. Responsible for advising clients and managing benefit solutions while ensuring compliance with regulations.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Benefit and Sales Consultant is responsible for providing a thorough explanation of applicable benefit products at the time of enrollment
- Assisting with the administration/enrollment of all employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, and worksite products
- Provide a range of advice on selecting, purchasing, and utilizing benefits
- Interact with and educate potential and existing clients in the products that best suit their needs
- Assess client needs and recommend employee benefits, life and living benefits, and assist clients in planning and implementation of product solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Two years' experience in employee benefits and/or benefits administration and or insurance and sales
- Current licensed life and health insurance agent preferred; if not licensed, must be able to obtain life and health licenses prior to employment or within introductory period of employment.
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Customer Service Skills
- Ability to learn and operate enrollment software
- Ability to operate online phone system as well as various web applications appropriate for client needs
