Seasonal Benefit and Sales Consultant

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Seasonal Sales and Benefit Consultant is responsible for providing a thorough explanation of applicable benefit products at the time of enrollment and assisting with the administration/enrollment of all employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, and worksite products.
- Provide a range of advice on selecting, purchasing, and utilizing benefits
- Interact with and educate potential and existing clients in the products that best suit their needs
- Assess client needs and recommend employee benefits, life and living benefits, and assist clients in planning and implementation of product solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Two years' experience in employee benefits and/or benefits administration and or insurance and sales
- Current licensed life and health insurance agent preferred; if not licensed, must be able to obtain life and health licenses prior to employment or within introductory period of employment.
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Customer Service Skills
- Ability to learn and operate enrollment software
- Ability to operate online phone system as well as various web applications appropriate for client needs
