About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the design and development of client-facing training and self-paced courses for technical and regulatory content.
  • Apply instructional design principles to structure clear, engaging, and effective learning experiences.
  • Own and administer JSI University, including publishing, learner tracking, and day-to-day platform management.
  • Manage and prioritize evolving regulatory and operational projects, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Support planning and execution of client-facing webinars, including technical setup, troubleshooting, and live-session quality control.
  • Manage shifting priorities, learn new tools, and provide support across the Regulatory Affairs team.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to identify training needs and priorities.
  • Use learner feedback and engagement data to continuously refine training content.
  • Maintain clear communication with internal teams and clients, participate in meetings, contribute ideas, and help shape training and client communication.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrated experience in instructional design, e-learning development, or a closely related field through professional roles, academic coursework, or self-directed projects.
  • Experience with course-authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, or similar; Articulate 360 strongly preferred.
  • Strong visual and content design skills for transforming dense materials into clear, organized, engaging content.
  • Comfort working with or willingness to learn an LMS and webinar/live-event software.
  • Ability to write clear, concise instructional content, including scripts, on-screen text, knowledge checks, SOPs, and quick reference guides.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and varied workloads while learning new tools and adapting to evolving needs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, including managing multiple projects in a high-volume environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, communications, or a related field is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to quickly learn and translate unfamiliar technical or regulatory material into accessible content.
  • Portfolio demonstrating e-learning or interactive course design work preferred.
  • Experience with graphic design or multimedia tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Vyond, or similar preferred.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design frameworks such as ADDIE or SAM preferred.
  • Experience with AI-enabled tools or automation for content creation, quality control, or documentation preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Monday.com, Smartsheets, and Adobe Acrobat preferred.
  • Experience building or prototyping applications, automations, or integrations using scripting, APIs, or no/low-code tools preferred.
