About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • - Oversee and drive the delivery of the overall OSP FTTH design project.
  • - Monitor design progress, oversee design scheduling, and track design status to schedule.
  • - Will interface with the client’s design team. Build strong working relationships by providing regular status updates to the JSI Project Manager and facilitating design alignment meetings.
  • - Coordinate closely with the field construction team to ensure design plans are understood and followed.
  • - Attend regular meetings with clients, stakeholders, and project managers to report on progress and manage risks.
  • - This position is integral to our vision, strategy, and overall growth plans and requires strong leadership, people skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • - High school diploma or GED required.
  • - Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or professional engineer certification is preferred but not required.
  • - 5+ years of experience successfully managing complex OSP FTTH design projects.
  • - A high degree of professionalism and integrity.
  • - Strong sense of urgency. Agile in fast-paced environments, multi-tasking, and project reprioritization.
  • - Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as listening and interpretation.
  • - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams).
  • - Experience with AutoCAD, Google Earth, and other GIS platforms.
  • - This position requires U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status.
