About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the Regional Sporting Goods business on the West Coast
- Own and drive strategically focused account plans with key retail partners and internal stakeholders
- Serve as the voice of NA Sales with PLMs and evolve channel/account merchandising strategies
- Lead account- and door-level assortment strategy to drive retailer profitability
- Build and execute Go-To-Market plans supporting Nike seasonal strategies
- Own business issues and day-to-day execution for designated key accounts
- Build internal and external relationships for collaborative account planning
- Integrate seasonal brand initiatives with wholesale partners
- Develop and execute 3-Year Strategic Account Plans with the Regional Sales Director
- Cultivate relationships with key Nike Inc. stakeholders
- Ensure alignment among Regional Sales leadership, the sales force, and ENI-JR286
- Work with Customer Service to optimize the order book and resolve issues
- Represent key accounts to PLMs and use sales metrics and consumer insights to shape assortments
- Lead ENI-JR286 and Seasonal Nike GTM processes, including pre-line process
- Prepare and execute Seasonal Customer Sell-Ins, including forecasting alignment and long-range planning
- Partner with marketing and visual support teams to enhance the consumer experience
- Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales, margin, turn, and sell-through analysis
- Provide competitive market insights
- Partner with retailers on seasonal vendor plans, forecasting accuracy, and auto-replenishment performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of experience in key account management, wholesale sales, or a related field within sporting goods, apparel, or footwear
- Proven track record managing regional or national retail accounts
- Direct experience presenting to and influencing senior retail buyers
- Strong analytical skills
- Hands-on experience in sales, margin, and sell-through analysis
- Experience with market share and competitive assessment
- Advanced Excel proficiency preferred
- Experience building and executing strategic, multi-year account or channel plans
- Experience with Go-To-Market (GTM) processes, seasonal sell-ins, and forecasting/replenishment planning
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to travel regionally to support key account relationships and in-market execution
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Experience in the Sporting Goods industry
- Experience with the Nike Brand
- Travel required – 50%
- Position based on the West Coast, preferably Southern California or in proximity
